Last winter in December, Ric had a surprise waiting for him one very cold morning. His horse Star had a baby out in the snowy pasture. Ric named her Noel and along with a couple neighbors (including Skyler's mom Stormy), they were able to keep Noel warm enough. She is a very sweet a cute little horse.
This is my favorite picture of Elsie on a horse. This is Sky. She was born right before Skyler's birthday three years ago. She is Skyler's mom Stormy's horse. Stormy had Sky down at Ric's for training and after only about 6 rides, Sky was doing so well that Elsie was able to ride her around in the arena with Papa Ric and Daddy close by. Elsie looks so cute up there. We were just getting ready to head to the airport to come home so she was not in riding clothes. It didn't matter to her though.
