More birthday pictures

We had my parents down on Sunday and Jolie had another little party.  Elsie was a very helpful and impatient older sister and she just had to give Jolie a hand in opening her presents.  Jolie actually didn't mind much, she just didn't want to share the new toys with her sister right after she opened them.  Instead of another round of birthday cake, we went with an ice cream cone and she was able to hold her number 1 candle.  She ate the whole ice cream cone (it was a little kids cone).  She had ice cream all over and ended up needing to take a little swim in the kiddy pool we had just to clean up a little.  
Elsie was busy playing with Daddy's old phone and sitting in Jolie's new chair from Grandma and Grandpa.  Jolie kept trying to climb up in the chair with Elsie.  They are very cute sitting in the chair together.  The little black flower apron Elsie is wearing is my first sewing project.  I made it out of an old dress of mine.  I sewed little pockets for markers in the front, so she now has an apron to wear while coloring at her easel. 
I caught Jolie reading a book by herself tonight.  Then I watched as she climbed in and out of the little chairs to read her book.  She loves her new comfy chair.
We are having so much fun with our passionate little one year old.
