Elsie turned 4 years old on March 7. We had a birthday party for her at the library this year. It turned out to be a great place to have a little party. They had a nice large room where story time is held. We had everyone come for Family Story Time and then stay after for pizza and cake. Elsie's favorite part was the cake. Our friend Fina from church made the cake. It was beautiful! Elsie ended up feeling a little sick during the party and the rest of the day with a low fever. It is just tradition for her to get sick or someone else the day of her party. Last year it was me (emergency appendectomy during her party), but the other three years it was Elsie who was sick.

So sorry that sweet Elsie was sick on her big day. That cake looks beautiful (and yummy too!) I'll have to ask you about having a party at the library...that sounds like fun!
