We arrived in Oregon last week Thursday after traveling since Monday from Tucson. We were able to stay at Nikki's mom's house on Monday night and Nikki's Dad's house on Tuesday night in California. Then we stayed overnight in Eureka, California before finishing the trip to Canby, Oregon on Thursday. The highlight of the drive up here was traveling through the Redwood National Forest. It was beautiful. The coast along northern California is also gorgeous. It is very different from Southern Califonia. Traveling all through Oregon was green, green, green. When we arrived it was a little rainy, but that only lasted about a day and then the sun and blue skies arrived. The 90 degree temperatures followed and finally today we are back in the 80's. The 90's are great in Tucson in the summer, but there is no A/C in the house we are renting, so the afternoons and evenings were a little hot for a few days.

Here is Jolie and Cisco with a little glimpse of the Filberts (Hazelnut) orchard where we are living. We put up a little temporary fence for the dogs, but the house is on the 60 acre Filberts orchard.
The girls are both enjoying the dandelions and blowing them all over the orchard. The walk around the property is a perfect length and we all love it!
On Tuesday we drove to visit some family in White Salmon, Washington and on the way we stopped at Multnomah Falls. Beautiful! Jolie keeps talking about the waterfall she saw.
We are adjusting and enjoying the beauty of the area. I love all the fresh vegetation. I went to the Farmer's Market this morning for produce and then we went to a Blueberry Blowout where I bought 10 lbs of Blueberries for $16! Yeah!
